Training Methodolgy

Post2Post’s training methodology is to focus on teaching, development, excellence and success to all our students. The standard of coaching used in our Competitive Program, Technification Program and Academy Games are proven to raise the level off all participants while also teaching the academy’s values such as respect, tolerance, fair play, friendship and many others.

Implementation

The Post2Post Goalkeeper Academy’s Technical Director Paolo Ceccarelli will implement the current season’s technical and tactical programs that he has been implementing over the past thirty years playing and coaching youth development programs. From academy structure, training sessions, and methodology to hours of operation, group ages, and group levels. The main objective is to teach, improve and to perfect each player's technical behavior on and off the field.

Training Objectives

The training sessions are planned with daily, weekly, trimester, and yearly goals. Therefore the Post2Post Technical Director as well as the Post2Post Coaches will be evaluating the progress of each player's performance.

Objectives for the PLAYERS:

• Learn and master the main skills and techniques of soccer goalkeeping
• Have a perception of timing and open space on the field of play
• Be ready for tactical responses to developments in the goalkeeping game
• Know how to read the game from a goalkeeper persepective
• Apply fair play at all times
